NEW YORK CITY
It was through one of Gods men that he began to deal with our hearts about the great need of taking the Gospel to the City of New York. Not just taking the Gospel though, Planting Churches specifically.
So Why New York City?
New York City has an area size of 302 Square miles with a population of 8.3 Million People. With only between 15 and 30 Independent Fundamental Baptist Churches.
My home county in Georgia is Henry County which is part of the Metro of Atlanta. To Put things in perspective, Henry county has an area size of 327 square miles. With a population of 230,000 people. There are atleast 15 Independent Fundamental Baptist Churches within 25 Miles of my house in Hampton Ga.
On its face it would appear that there are many "Churches" in NYC. The fact is though that a building without the Holy Spirit in it, is just that, a Building! Would you pray for us as we prepare to reach this very needy area with the Gospel?
